Protecting the environment and meeting lithium demand are not mutually exclusive. Origin Minerals will extract lithium from brine water using a cleaner, more efficient method of lithium production—direct lithium extraction (DLE). Our sustainable model protects natural landscapes from mining pits, mountain scarring and evaporation ponds. The designed production process will minimize our need for freshwater, reduce chemical use and toxic tailings, and strive for net-zero carbon emissions.
